Our sites should exist to drive new work requests to your queue. About pages, in general, are one of the most clicked-on links, so we don't want to miss an opportunity to connect with our potential clients.

If it's important to your "why" you can touch upon how you got started with sewing and quilting, but I'd caution against using a long story to get there. Write in the first person using I or we (if appropriate). If meeting in person, what are the most important things you want someone to know about your business? 

If you have any awards or publications, include these here as "social proof" or if there is a particular project or quilt you are proud of, include a picture.  Also include a picture of yourself if you like, perhaps even in your sewing space or with your longarm?
